The Green Room | Where Calm Meets Character
When my client first described what he wanted, his words were clear and confident:

“Think private members’ club… cigar room energy. Dark, moody, grounded but refined.”

It wasn’t about creating a traditional study or library. It was about building an atmosphere a space that felt deeply personal, layered, and unapologetically bold.
The Vision

Every finish was selected for its tactility. The back panels behind the shelving weren’t painted; they're a leather effect finish, chosen to create that layered richness that draws you in without shouting. Against the green joinery, it adds just enough contrast and warmth.

The lighting was designed to be soft and cinematic minimal overheads, focused accents, and a chandelier that feels like sculpture. Each glass droplet is made from recycled glass, reflecting the light differently throughout the day, a sustainable yet luxurious touch that elevates the entire space.
The Design Story

What makes this space powerful isn’t just the palette, it's how everything connects emotionally.
The textures, the tones, the weight of the materials they all create a space that’s meant to feel lived in, not staged.

It’s a room for quiet moments: a coffee, a book, a glass of something strong.
It’s also a statement of a space that reminds you that design can be emotional, reflective, and deeply personal.
The Green Room

This room became one of my proudest creations, a balance of stillness and strength.
It represents calm after years of chaos, and growth born from persistence.
When you design with intention, every element tells part of the story even the silence in between.
