Who are BDS & What do we specialise in?

 

BDS is a high-end studio specialising in the Design & Build industry. 

We are a team of specialists designers and engineers qualifying in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design and Project Management and have years of experience in running residential and commercial projects, making sure they comply with Building Regulations, Planning Permission and local authorities.

What does BDS mean and where did it derive from?

 

BDS stands for Babylon Design Studio.

 

Babylonia was a state in Ancient Mesopotamia.

​

The city is rich in ancient ruins, dating back from over 4,000 years ago!

The city was known for its beautiful and lavish buildings and was known to have accommodated the most rich, powerful and influential people of ancient Mesopotamia. 

​

Babylon is one of the most famous cities of the ancient world. It was the centre of a flourishing culture and an important trade hub of the Mesopotamian Civilization 

 

The city consists of rich architectural history, with ’The Hanging Gardens of Babylon’ being only one of many.

It is a colossal maze of terraced trees, shrubs,

flowers and manmade waterfalls and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. 

 

 Today not everyone knows of Babylon and here at BDS,

we aim to tell the world more of our culture and were we take our inspiration from.
